Chocolate Malt is a roasted malt made from 2-row barley and is known by its dark, rich coffee and chocolate flavor profile and dark color. Use sparingly, as the bold flavors may overpower the beer. When used in darker beers, such as porters, stouts, brown ales and dunkels, it is quite complementary.
