DistilaMax® SR has been selected by UNGDA (Union Nationale des Groupements de Distillateurs d’Alcool, France) in partnership with Lallemand. The strain displays good osmotic stress tolerance, performing well with high fermentable solids. DistilaMax® SR demonstrates a good balance of glucose/ fructose uptake, as well as good resistance to the Maillard reaction by products found in molasses.
